VINOD K. DHAM
Executive Managing Director, NEA-IndoUS Ventures
As a pioneer in the technology industry, Vinod (Vin) Dham is the
acknowledged "Father of the Pentium" microprocessor. He successfully
executed on his previous fund, NewPath Ventures, and is building
NEA-IndoUS Ventures on similar principles. Prior to NewPath Ventures,
Vinod was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Silicon Spice Inc., which was acquired by Broadcom Corporation. Vin
spent 16 years of his career at Intel Corporation where he held the
position of Vice President and General Manager of the Microprocessor
Products group. After Intel, Vin joined microprocessor start up
"NexGen", as its Chief Operating Officer. At NexGen Vin was
instrumental in redefining Nexgen's processor direction, and
engineering the merger with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). At AMD Vin
became the Group Vice President, and oversaw the launch of K6 the
world's fastest windows processor at that time. In 1993, Vin was named
as one of the top 25 executives in the computer industry in America. In
1999, he was named as one of the top 100 most influential Asian
Americans of the decade. In 2000, Vin was appointed to serve on the US
President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific
Islanders. Currently he serves on the Boards of Satyam, Sasken,
Hellosoft, InSilica, Minekey, Nevis, Telsima and Montalvo. Vin has
co-authored numerous technical papers and patents. Vin has a Bachelor's

Vani Kola
Managing Director, India, NEA-IndoUS Ventures
Vani is a renowned entrepreneur and a visionary known for identifying
emerging markets. For the past decade, she has carved a niche in
building successful software companies. Vani has partnered with Vinod
Dham to co-found NEA-IndoUS Ventures, an early-stage venture capital
firm, focused on enabling world-class entrepreneurship in India. Vani
was the founder and CEO of Certus Software, a leader in the Financial
Compliance market. Prior to establishing Certus, Vani was the founder
and CEO of RightWorks, a successful e-procurement company. Vani has
also held management and engineering positions at Consilium and Control
Data Corporation. Vani's commitment to excellence and integrity directs
her approach to building companies, developing products and empowering
people. Vani is profiled in numerous books and has been identified as
one of the top 10 entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. She is also actively
involved in various organizations focused on fostering entrepreneurship

Kumar Shiralagi
Managing Director, India
Kumar was previously the head of Intel Capital India, the venture
capital group responsible for Indian investments. As the Country
Director, he was responsible for Intel's India investment strategy and
he brings on-ground experience in successfully making and managing
investments and exits. Prior to joining Intel in 2003, he was the
cofounder and Chief Operating Officer of Lytek Corporation in Arizona
where he managed all business activities of the company. He has also
worked in Motorola in various areas ranging from technology development
to corporate strategy and investments from 1993-2000. After completing
his Engineering in Electronics and Communications from National
institute of Technology (formerly KREC), Karnataka, he worked in
Electronics and Radar Development in 1984-85 in Bangalore, India. He
earned his PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State
University and an MBA from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of
International Management. He has published over 60 papers in
international journals and conferences, has 23 issued US patents, is a
senior member of IEEE and a charter member of TiE Bangalore.
